Art That Heals.
Art That Helps
It’s art with a mission: easing the burden and
painting hope for families in the fight.
The Families We Help
Childhood cancer doesn’t just shake a family emotionally; it can dismantle even the strongest financial plans overnight. Paintings for Pediatrics was founded by a financial planner who saw this firsthand: a family, careful with every dollar, doing all the “right” things, suddenly blindsided by a diagnosis they never expected. Medical bills, lost wages, travel costs, and emotional strain quickly took over. It became clear that hope alone isn’t enough; families need help.
This organization exists because of that moment. Because cancer doesn’t wait for paychecks, and bills don’t stop when treatment starts. Paintings for Pediatrics turns children’s art into tangible support for families facing some of the hardest days of their lives, offering both financial relief and a reminder that they’re not alone.

We provide assistance to families with a child under 18 who has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently in treatment or under an oncologist’s care. Eligible families must live in the Midwest (unless otherwise approved), be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and complete an application with confirmation of diagnosis from a healthcare provider. Awards are distributed as checks or gift cards for up to one year, with the option to reapply as funds allow.
Our mission is grounded in hope, resilience, and gratitude. We believe in lifting others during their hardest moments—and in appreciating the everyday blessings we so often take for granted.
Request a Painting Kit for a Child
Art has a unique way of helping children express what words can’t—especially during the challenging journey of cancer treatment. At Paintings for Pediatrics, we believe in the healing power of creativity. Our painting kits are designed to give your child a joyful outlet, a sense of purpose, and the chance to contribute to something bigger than their diagnosis.
If your child is currently undergoing treatment, preparing to begin, or being monitored by an oncologist, you can request a free painting kit to be sent directly to your home or hospital. Each kit includes all the supplies needed to create and return a painting, which may be featured in our gallery to help raise funds for other families facing financial hardship.
To get started, please complete and submit the three required forms. Once received, our team will process your request and ship the kit with care. We can’t wait to see the story your child paints—and share their light with others.
